This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 1 packet SunRice Steamed Brown Rice

  • 500 g Diced Chicken Thigh Fillet (or breast fillet)

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil

  • 1 tsp Garlic (crushed)

  • 2 tsp Ginger (crushed)

  • 1 cup Spring Onions (sliced)

  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce

Method

  • To cook the rice, follow packet directions or refer to our How to Cook Brown Rice page.

    Alternatively if you are using SunRice Steamed Brown rice, simply massage the pouch to separate the grains and place in the microwave for the required time as indicated on the packet.

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

  • Add chicken and stir fry until cooked.

  • Add ginger and garlic, fry gently for a minute.

  • Add rice and stir fry until rice is hot.

  • Add soy sauce and spring onions and heat for a further minute.
