Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 2 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 4, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 2½ cup SunRice Jasmine or Basmati Rice (cooked)

  • 1½ cup Mixed Frozen Veg

  • 200 g Ham/Bacon/Char Siu Pork (cubed)

  • ½ Small Onion (finely chopped)

  • ½ cup Spring Onion/Scallions (sliced)

  • 3 clove Garlic (crushed)

  • 2 Eggs (scrambled)

  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil

  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (for sauce)

  • 2 tbsp Ketchap Manis (for sauce)

  • ¼ tsp White Pepper (for sauce)

  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce (for sauce)

  • ½ tsp Vegeta (for sauce)

  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds (for sauce)

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil (for sauce)

  • 2 tsp Jap Marin or Chinese Cooking Wine (for sauce)

Jasmine

Jasmine rice is a fragrant long grain varietal that is perfect in southeast Asian style dishes. This grain will be slightly sticky but still fluffy. Its separating qualities and natural fragrance compliment many spices, making it a great choice for a wide variety of fried rice, stir fries and curry recipes.

Method

  • Heat your wok with oil. Add the onion, garlic and meat of your choice and sauté for 2 mins

  • Add the vegetables and stir for 2 minutes or until heated through.

  • Combine the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and pour into your wok before adding in the cooked rice. Stir for another 2 minutes.

  • Push the rice to one side and add the scrambled eggs to the pan. Once the eggs are cooked through, mix everything together, turn off the heat and garnish with spring onion.
